Great food and value, but needs better AC! The food here is really delicious, and the portion sizes are great for the price. The staff are friendly and the service is lovely. My only critique is the restaurant's temperature, they really need stronger AC to help combat the spiciness of the food! Also, it would be much more convenient if they added Octopus card as a payment option. Overall, it's a nice place and I will definitely be back! After a long day walking around Ladies Market, Ros Jad was exactly what we needed. It’s a Thai restaurant with a bit of a Chinese twist, and honestly, everything we tried was packed with flavour. We ordered quite a mix: - Thai basil stir-fried minced pork with sausage, century egg and rice - Squid krapow with rice - Fried pork shoulder with seafood sauce - Stir-fried water spinach in seafood sauce - Pandan coconut water - Thai milk tea If you like bold Thai flavours, this place really delivers. Everything had that signature punch, rich, aromatic, and properly spicy. Even as someone who enjoys spice, it still had a satisfying kick that made every dish exciting. The fried pork shoulder with seafood sauce was a standout for me, super fresh, herby, and it tied all the dishes together really well. But the real highlight? The crispy fried eggs. You can order up to five per dish (which is honestly wild), and they are incredible. Perfectly crispy on the outside with that deep, jammy yolk inside, simple, but done so well that it completely elevates the whole meal. Overall, such a fun spot with great food and strong flavours.
