I give one star for the service we received, not the food. The owner made us feel dishonest customers and the restaurant the honest merchant. The owner said we made a mistake ordering pasta; her employee, on the other hand, took the order and prepared accordingly because the employee always asks twice and confirms. So there was no room for my wife to argue that her employee could also make a mistake. My wife loves pasta since we were back in the States. Our favorite Italian restaurant was the Sicily in Valencia Shopping Mall, Valencia, CA. Her favorite there was spaghetti Bolognese. Mine? Seafood marinara pasta. Living in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, however, a decent pasta place is rare until someone at Camp Humphreys told me about this restaurant in the First Village outlet in Asan, not far from EGthe1 apartment where we live. So, we would go there on Saturdays to take out Bolognese pasta, thin pizza, and some bread for dinner on our way back home from visiting Cheonan. Last week, April 23, 2022, we ordered the usual, came home, and opened the containers and found pasta Vongole, not Bolognese. I saw my wife carefully removing the shells from the pasta but giving up because she was afraid of cracking her teeth chewing sands that might be there. So she called the restaurant and said we got Vongole not our usual Bolognese. The owner said she would give us a credit or replace it. My wife said we will go there next Saturday. Come next Saturday, we had a large New York pizza from Vatos on base and came home, opened the container and found the bottom of pizza was black, nearly burnt. Called Vatos, the receptionist's first word was "So sorry. We will replace it if you don't mind stopping by again." No questions asked. So we decided to get two birds with one stone. We went to Vatos first with the bottom burnt pizza, our pizza was ready and then my wife called Rosmarino but the owner changed her mind. "My employee always ask twice to confirm the order, and therefore we do not make that mistake." That meant it was my wife that must have said, "Vongole" twice. My wife did not want to argue with her. So my wife and I ended up writing a review because we both were upset that the restaurant does not make a mistake but customers do.
