Royal One just so happens to be in my office building, super convenient for lunch time dim sum! Ordering is very easy and dishes like BBQ pork (charsiu) and Crispy Pork Belly (siu yok), come out within 5 to 10 minutes, and are devoured in about 3 minutes. Wow! Dim sum is super tasty and my favorites are the beef balls, shrimp dumplings (hargaw), shrimp and pork dumplings (siumai), shrimp and vegetable dumplings, fried turnip cake, chicken feet and the super runny and creamy egg custard bun. Oh and more! Since it gets quite crowded during lunch time, don't expect stellar service. Food comes out right after another. We had the case today where towards the end, the food came out very very slow. We had our last vegetable dish served and was still waiting for the fried rice. As the wait was too long and we needed to go back to work, we asked them to cancel the fried rice. Within 5 minutes, the fried rice arrived! We asked them to take it away because we told the cashier staff we didn't want to eat it and it came too late (we were already full). Then 5 minutes later, while waiting for the updated bill, two plates of fried bean curd sheets with duck arrived! I did order this but how could it come 1 hour after placing our order? Very busy kitchen at peak time. We asked them to cancel but it was too late, so we just took it to-go.
