I’m coming to this place daily and I love it! This restaurant is one of the main reasons why I decided to live in this area, near the restaurant. There are so many menu options to choose from, including a great variety of Thai dishes and more! I absolutely love their mango passion fruit smoothie (the last photo)—it’s amazing, I ordered that 2 times. They can also make the dishes vegan upon request, which is perfect since I'm a vegan myself and they were happy to accommodate. Plus, it’s super convenient as the restaurant is located right near the GM Apartment. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Rung Rueng Restaurant located on Chaweng Hill tucked away from the hustle and bustle high in the mountains only a short scooter ride away from the main road, this undoubtedly was the best (tastiest, friendliest, local prices, diversified in variety, and go to) local restaurant in my area, living nearby I would order the local dishes (Curries, Pad Thai, Stir-fries, Pad Kra Pao, Tom Yum, Massaman, kaeng Lueang, Khao Soi etc) every day for 3 weeks, since they were very accessible, easy to order through and they delivered so it was not only an excellent choice but delicious and delectable on every dish, not only were they fast, efficient, exceptional service, they were many times a life-saver for I would have nothing in my fridge and they provided very satisfying turnaround of steaming hot fresh food delivered to my doorstep in a few short minutes, it become 2nd nature that it would be my favorite local cuisine in the vicinity of my stay on Chaweng Hill plus Cha, the matriarch and long time owner of the establishment is very much a caring, kind, friendly, supportive and genuine lady and cooks the food with love, care and in a manner that resembles the home-cooking meals you are used to at home, a true family of owners, staff(Yu & Soon) are excellent too, patrons and guests alike and a wonderful place to immerse oneself in the Thai local cuisine nestled in the mountain and among the trees and flora of the surrounding bush, a large portion of my stay there is a direct reflection of my experience at Rung Rueng Restaurant which was nothing short of excellent, amazing and incredible in many ways Thanks so much Cha for making my stay & meals so amazing to enjoy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fried Rice Seafood, Chicken Soup, Cashew Chicken, Stir Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Seafood Salad, Ginger Chicken, Pad Thai with Shrimp
