I loved this restaurant that I came back for a second visit. The food is delicious, the restaurant is beautiful. Honestly, this place deserves 5 stars, but I am giving only 1 stars because of what happened during my second visit. We ordered the seafood steamed egg hot pot. All of our other dishes arrived quickly, but the steamed egg never came. We followed up twice, and after almost 30 minutes of waiting, it still had not arrived. Eventually, a staff member came over and told us that the dish had not even been prepared yet, which clearly suggests it had been forgotten. She then asked if we wanted to cancel it because it would take a long time if they started making it at that point. The tone of the Thai female server who came to inform us was very disappointing. She didn’t seem apologetic at all for forgetting our order. Instead, the first thing she asked was whether we wanted to cancel it. At the very least, she could have sincerely apologized or offered an alternative dish that could be served more quickly, rather than immediately asking if we wanted to cancel the order. When we left the restaurant, she was nowhere to be seen. We walked out quietly without even hearing a simple “thank you.” That was a very disappointing way to end what had otherwise been a pleasant dining experience. The experience completely ruined our meal. We had originally planned to order desserts and additional dishes, but after that interaction, we lost our appetite. Mistakes can happen, but there was no attempt to make up for the inconvenience or recover the customer experience. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning.
