I’ve eaten at Salt & Stone for at least 15 times now. The food is always consistent, fresh and really delicious. The service has never missed a beat. The staff are friendly and attentive and always willing to help. However my last trip went way beyond my expectations! I took my family here for a Valentines/pre-CNY meal. We ordered a lot of the great food we’ve always gotten but this time decided to try the lamb chops for the first time. The waitress told us it would take an hour to be prepared which we were comfortable with. The lamb ended up taking longer than expected, which we actually didn’t mind since we were enjoying our wine and our chat. However the staff were so courteous, giving us updates and even providing a dessert as a show of gratitude for us waiting. In the end we got our lamb chops which were so good! Tender, juicy and tasted really good without the gamey taste that you sometimes get with lamb. Worth the wait After we paid and were walking away one of the staff chased after us with a bag filled with amazing pastries. She wished us happy Valentine’s Day, happy CNY and thanked us again for our patience. It was one last surprise that made the experience even more unforgettable.
