I should have trusted my gut feeling when I walked in to this place. First the positive. The cafe mocha hot and iced are decent and as expected. The BAD: We had the Chicken Roffle. Took a few bites and we threw them out. Which is really surprising since I'll eat just about anything. The potatoes taste like they're fried in old oil amd the dish is self seemed really wet. Also, don't be fooled by their social media presence. This place is nothing like what their IG shows. Unless there is another location, but we went to the address that it listed on their IG. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Seldom post reviews of bad dining experience but here's a disappointing one. 1. Ordered 1x fish dinner and 1x chicken rouffle and 1x melon oolong, and the staff forgot my drink until I reminded him, 15 minutes after the food was served. The drink is the ready-made kind in a can, there was no preparation needed, other than just taking the drink out from the fridge. The staff did apologize for his mistake. (fyi, there was only 2 other customers on another table and their food were already served). 2. Food was served in 15 minutes, however the rosti was overcooked. To be fair, I went to look at their instagram posts and it didn't look that overcooked at their previous outlet at Ubi. Portion size was small too and taste was not satisfactory at all. Spent $10.80 on a rouffle and $11.80 on a platter set. The can drink was $6.80 and definitely not worth the price. 3. The table & chair design was fancy but not comfy for dining. Food was served in plastic container and plastic utensils, much like what they use for delivery orders as well. Tissue packet placed on table with its original brand, like those seen at roadside eateries. Might be better off eating elsewhere. Will not recommend visiting. There are much better eateries for rosti and waffles out there with a better atmosphere and location. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I visited their poolside café outlet at Skypool@139 in Telok Ayer. Seal’s signature dish, the roffles, combines the best of rosti and waffles. The Fish Roffles ($10.80) features a crispy fish fillet, scrambled eggs, melted cheese and sour cream stacked between deep-fried rosti. The flavouful sauce and the melty cheese complemented the scrambled eggs beautifully, making for a delightful dish. For a heartier meal, try the Chicken Dinner ($11.80). This dish includes rosti, fluffy waffles, chicken chop pieces, sour cream and coleslaw. The waffles soaked up the savoury gravy perfectly, while the chicken, with its crispy skin and tender meat, bonded wonderfully with the slightly salty sauce. It’s a comforting and satisfying option for dinner. I got the Iced Chocolate and Iced Mocha Latte for beverages which were prepared and packed on the spot! They also have Matcha Latte and Cold Brew Teas, as well as ice cream and yogurt for dessert. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Scrambled Eggs
