Being a servicemember from the States, it's not easy finding Texas BBQ in Suwon. But this place has it. Went for the food the other day and it was slow hours, so the owner spent time swapping military stories with us. He takes pride in what he's done with his life and found his calling in sharing BBQ from his native country for retirement. We had two platters, the largest and third largest (can't remember their names). Both were incredible from the pulled pork to the bbq chicken. Baked beans were on point, and he has a somewhat personal spin on coleslaw; I normally leave it on the plate, but this was good. All 3 colleagues and I really appreciated what he has to bring to the table. Try the milkshakes! Hope I can make it back again before I depart the area. Thanks! Hey guys!! If meat is your thing and you are near Gwanggyo, Suwon area, you absolutely have to try this new place. SMOKEHOUSE512 They are an authentic Texas Smokehouse that specialises in smoked meat such as Ribs, Brisket, Pork and even Chicken. They have various burger selections and the side dishes are off the chart, from mashed patatoes, chipotle broccoli, french fries and even Mac and cheese. A definite must try when you are in the area! The restaurant is quite new, so give it a try when you are in the area. Ask for the owner, Travis if you are in the mood for some English conversation.
