優しい味わいのコーヒーを頂けます。コーヒーを淹れてくださる方の雰囲気が自然をまとった柔らかな川の流れのような方で、その、自然の柔らかな優しさがコーヒーに出ているように感じました。上の階でヒーリングを受けられる日は、ヒーリングを受けた余韻を崩さないコーヒーをおすすめしてくださいます。お気に入りの場所です。 Service: Dine in Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

三井寺の麓 疎水の脇にあるギャラリーキッカケッコさんの中にあるcafeです。 自家焙煎の珈琲は香り高いものが多くいつも楽しませていただいています。 素敵な食器をみながら美味しい珈琲を楽しめるお店です。 御朱印集めやお参りウォーキング、桜の時期や新緑紅葉の時期も楽しめますよ。

Squirrel Nest Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in Japan! You can enjoy single-origin coffee, also known as speciality coffee here. Every cup is carefully prepared in the "pour-over" style, which allows the flavor and aroma to shine. The coffee shop owner is very kind, calm and friendly. This cafe is inside a beautiful and serene gift shop (kikkakekko_biwako_canal) renovated from an old Japanese house by Lake Biwa Canal (琵琶湖疎水). It is only 3-minute walk from Keihan Miidera Station (三井寺駅) and it is on your way to Miidera Temple (三井寺・園城寺Onjo-ji), one of the Four Great Temples of Japan. If you are coming from Keihan Sanjyo Station (Kyoto), take the Tozai line and change trains at Biwako-Hamaotsu Station (Ishiyama-Sakamoto Line). Being able to enjoy delicious coffee and other types of seasonal drinks in such a quite and beutiful temple town by Lake Biwa is such a treat. I would like to note that Squirrel Nest Coffee at this location is open on weekends only. I recommend you to check their business hours.
