The matcha here was smooth and strong enough to hold its own in milk with hints of bitterness and astringency. I had mine without sugar which is how I like it, while the missus’ strawberry matcha version was perfectly balanced. The black roll cake was what you would want in a roll cake - hefty and flavourful yet light on the palate. A great introduction to Seoul! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I visited this matcha place today with my sister and ordered a drink for myself. My sister did not want anything to drink. The staff asked whether we would stay or take it to go, and when I said we would stay, I was told that due to their policy, every person sitting in the place must order a drink. What made this experience disappointing is that the café was completely empty at the time. There were plenty of available seats, and there was no issue with limited space. A more customer-friendly approach would have been appreciated, especially since I was considering purchasing their matcha powder if I enjoyed the drink. The policy is very rude TBH.
