Donkey & I decided to try SWK Noodle at Telok Blangah Way, even though the Google rating was only 3.1 stars. Donkey went there to pick me up after work, and since it was raining heavily, we decided to have dinner before heading home. Donkey chose SWK Noodle based on their advertisements, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. Donkey forgot to show his Safra app for the 5% discount, and it was a bit disappointing that the owner didn’t ask if he is a Safra member. It felt somewhat dishonest. Additionally, the owner appeared rather grumpy while serving, looking moody and unhelpful. The noodle dish itself was passable but nothing memorable. It was slightly bland, and the soup lacked a distinctive flavor. While it was okay to eat, it wasn’t something we would rave about. Kitty and I decided to give SWK Noodle at Telok Blangah Way a go, even though the Google rating was a bit on the low side (3.1 stars). We were curious to see what it was like. I was actually there to pick Kitty up from work, but as it was raining cats and dogs, we decided to have our dinner there before heading home. I chose SWK Noodle based on the advertisements in the shop, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't all that amazing. I forgot to present my Safra app for the 5% discount, but I was a bit disappointed that the owner didn't even bother to enquire whether we were Safra members. It felt a bit disingenuous, to be honest. To add to that, the owner seemed a bit grumpy when serving the food, looking rather moody and not exactly in the mood to be helpful. The noodle dish itself was decent enough, but it didn't exactly set the world alight. It was slightly on the bland side, and the soup was rather uninspired as well. While the taste was acceptable, it wasn't anything to write home about. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
