情報の誤りを報告する
We are not gourmets, but we know good food from ordinary as we eat at many restaurants internationally every year, from 3-Michelin star to homely ones with limited menus and basic trappings.
Our criterion is how it tastes in our mouth.
Complexities of preparation are interesting, as is interplay of textures and flavours, but ultimately whether we go back depends upon taste.
We don't eat pork, and the chef accommodated us willingly.
Out of the tasting menu of 7 items plus two "surprises" and palate cleanser, the desert was outstanding. Two of the four other bon-bons surprises were excellent, two OK.
Out of the other eight courses, two were outstanding, two good, the rest ordinary.
Well presented, and clearly a lot of experimenting went into the preparation.
Service was above average.
We would try one of the others also highly rated next time.
I would give Saawaan 3.5 stars.out of 5. Definitely above average, but not outstanding.
