Visited the newly opened Saboten Japanese Cutlet and ordered the $248 premium pork fillet cutlet. Unfortunately, the pork was neither soft nor tender, falling short of expectations and not worth its price. Also tried the chicken fillet and prawn set. The chicken was quite chewy, again not meeting the quality I’d hoped for. The QR code ordering system is poorly written. It doesn’t clearly list how many starters are included or specify the items that come with each set. Additionally, we were not presented with the booklet menu, which should have been provided. Staff training is clearly required to improve the overall experience. Average spending per person: $240 (lunch +10% service charge). The only notable advantage is the option to get free refills on rice, salad, and miso soup. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
