Decent sushi in Ueno. The nigiri and side dishes are delicious. Service was fair. The memorable dishes for me were the ebi, anago, tamago with sugar-crusted top at the end and the mini donburi with crab, toro, ikura and caviar. The restaurant is on the 12F, and there is only one elevator which holds 6, so it might take a few minutes to go from the 1F to the top floor. For the price, ¥16,500 course dinner, I’d say it’s an average sushi meal for Tokyo despite its top Tabelog ranking for the Ueno area. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I had the 11,000yen sushi course and it was truly unforgettable. Every piece was incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. The service was warm and professional, and you could really feel the care and dedication in every detail. After this experience, it’s hard to imagine enjoying sushi anywhere else. Highly recommended Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
