We had the tasting menu. The cold plates were excellent. Generally I do not like sardine but their sardine toast was very good. The crudo was also excellent. Vegetables were very fresh. 1 star deducted for the hot plates. They are not bad at all. But at that price we were expecting just a bit more. Particularly on the crab legs, it’s fine, not something that would wow you. Same thing goes to the scallop. Pasta was good but again not something that’d impress you deeply. Wine pairing was excellent. But don’t get me wrong overall it’s a nice place, good vibes, very nice staff, food is great just a bit pricey. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $500+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious and stylish seafood small dishes in a trendy setting with attentive staff (our waiter was Adrien) that help explain each dish and make great wine recommendations. Price point also very reasonable - HKD888 for the omakase course (which is enough to make you full). Great experience all round - have already been twice, and hope to go again! Had a lovely birthday dinner last night at Salon des Refusés. I’ve always liked the vibe at Blacksheep spots—cool but unpretentious, with a warm, relaxed ambience that’s perfect for a celebration. We did the “In Chef Luca’s Hands” menu. The food was solid and enjoyable across the board. A real highlight for me was the iwashi on toast—really fresh, clean, and with a nice little crunch. The cod tarama and ma yau “alla tuba” were tasty, too. What made the meal special was the excellent service. The team was attentive without being overbearing, explained each dish simply, and helped us pick a great wine to match. The food was definitely above average, but it was the smooth, friendly service that tied the whole evening together beautifully. A really great experience.
