Decided to go for a late afternoon walk to visit Somedays Coffee for a coffee. I reached slightly before closing, at around 4:30 p.m. and easily got a seat along their benches in front of the service counter. The seating area within Grafunkt is small and I imagine that at a more crowded time it would be difficult to get a seat, but overall it's a good spot to get a cold drink, hide away from the heat for a while, before continuing with the day. Ordered an Espresso Tonic ($7.50), which is my drink of choice and not that easy to find in cafes here, and it was done really well. The tonic was strongly carbonated and was the pick me up that I was looking for. As for service, while interaction was limited for me, as I ordered and paid via a kiosk and collected my drink when it was complete, the two staff members there are helpful and nice - there was a lady behind me, and they did sound helpful, answering her questions and accommodating her drink preferences . Ordered the chrysanthemum milk tea, loved it, very unique and flavourful! Staff is friendly too, they were playing w my little one, which was nice. Cafe ambience is lovely, located within GRAFUNKT luxury furniture store, in a beautiful heritage Art Deco building, which I seriously love. Will be back to try the other drinks! if you’re looking for good drinks in Joo Chiat, i strongly recommend Same Days coffee stand! the dirty matcha ($7.50) was easily one of the best dirty matcha i have ever tasted, with the creamy rich matcha pairing well with the fragrant, nutty coffee in every sip. there is no doubt that this place serves high quality drink as its matcha is better than many places i have tried!! the atmosphere is rather comfortable and cozy, making it a wonderful location to have conversations and good drinks with friends :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
