Excellent food, excellent service. Cannot ask for more. Food came out almost the same time even for a big group. Most of the food ordered, be it Asian or Western, was plattable, tasty and presented really well Service staff was very accommodative and friendly. Kudos to the staff working there. The exclusive location is fairly accessible, despite the location. Quiet dining environment with ambience music. Staffs are relatively responsive however, as I trust that most of them are part-timers, they do still seems very lost with the operational requirements. Food aspect, I can say that their pizza, thick-cut fries, roasted pork belly, and pork chop are the better ones from all our orders. I would not order their fried noodle (too spicy and not to my taste bud), fried fish noodle soup (great presentation which do not live up to taste), Wagyu burger (the bun will be better if toasted, the meaty is too dry), ribeye steak (meat is too tough, for medium well, and verified by couple of the members in our group). Surrounding environment is worth the 15 to 20 minutes of your time to explore around. Overall, It is a good place for gathering. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Although it was Valentine’s Day, the crowd was comfortable. As we brought our dog along, we were seated at the outdoor area. Our first impression of Amara Sanctuary wasn’t ideal due to poor accessibility from the carpark for pet strollers. However, this was quickly redeemed by the warm service at Sanctuary Tearoom. We were warmly ushered through the indoor area to the outdoor seats, and the air cooler was already switched on when we arrived. The staff also offered alternative tables in case the wind was too strong. The ambiance felt like a tropical getaway despite being in Singapore. MJ attended to us promptly, recommended signing up as an Amara member for discounts, and kindly helped arrange the pet tea set we had mistakenly thought we had booked. The food arrived shortly after and impressed us with its simple yet elegant presentation. The steak came with a brief flambé, and the XO bee hoon had a nice pouring show. The dishes were flavourful, carried an old-school charm, and were reasonably priced. We also enjoyed several drinks, most prepared by MJ, who doubled as our bartender. I especially appreciated the milky cocktail she crafted upon request. Before leaving, we spotted another table with the cute CNY pet platter and decided to get one to take away as well. Overall, it was a fantastic lunch, and we will definitely be back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
