As usual, food is consistently fresh and flavourful during my visits. It's a great option for halal Thai cuisine. Affordable and dishes are in decent portions. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I am a vegetarian and I have ordered vegetarian clear Tom Yum Soup in Sanook Kitchen Jurong Point on 30th May around 5-6pm. When I almost finished the soup, I found a small chicken piece inside the Tom Yum Soup. I was so speechless because I ordered a vegetarian food and not customising a Non-Vegetarian food. I couldn’t digest this and I informed the waitress there. The waitress didn’t show any remorseful but instantly said sorry for the incident and said that she will void the payment for Tom Yum Soup. I was in deep distress that I couldn’t accept her insincere apology. I immediately went to the cashier and the waitress was on call with someone. She said she has voided the Veg Soup and service tax and I made the payment for the rest of the items and left immediately. The restaurant was quite packed and I didn’t wanna cause any scene there. When I was exiting from the restaurant, a lady approached me ( I think she is the manager) . She was nice and apologised to me repeatedly and insisted to pay me back the money that I have paid for the other food items. But Honestly this is not about money. It’s involved the trust between the customer and the restaurant. Among all the restaurant in Jurong Point, I came to Sanook Kitchen, believing that I would get some vegetarian food. I don’t expect the meal to be prepared in separate utensils but the chicken piece that I found in my soup arises a lot of trust issues within myself. I’m sharing this incident here so that the restaurant would be extra cautious when preparing the meals. Thank you Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Amazing place. Food is delicious and service is always tip top. There's a male waiter that always gives 100 when I'm here. Very friendly and kind, and gives the best suggestions as to seating places and such. All pictures uploaded here are from the various times I went here. The last time I went, we got the Seafood platter. But the prawns used in it must not be very fresh as it was very difficult to remove the shell. Besides that I am never disappointed coming here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
