I had a very disappointing experience at Saravanaa Bhavan today. I was shocked to find a hair in my rasam, which completely ruined my appetite. The manager insisted that my family and I try the thali from the beginning. Unfortunately, this only added to our disappointment. The food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the price. What was even more concerning was the lack of hygiene among the staff. The waiters were serving food without tying their hair, which is unacceptable in a restaurant setting. Additionally, the manager and waiter were overly pushy, which made the entire experience even more uncomfortable. The manager even touched my father’s food with his bare hands to guide him how to eat the food- which I found quite ridiculous and unhygienic. Overall, this visit was far below the standards I expect from a restaurant, and I won’t be returning. I do not recommend this place at all.
