Walked in without reservation on a pretty calm evening. There was nobody (maybe due to the state holidays). The waiter/cook/co-owner greeted me and with translator explained it is Omasake restaurant with to options - 5k and 7k degustation, the more expensive one was just bigger in portions. And him and his father startér preparing the best dinner I have had in Japan. Had also amazing sake. There is nothing bad I can say about the restaurant, maybe only that I am very sad I had to go to the hotel after this experience because I would love to keep tasting all the good stuff these guys do! **5 Stars** I recently had an exceptional dining experience at Sasabune 笹舟, opting for their 9-course dinner. From start to finish, everything was beyond delicious. The highlight of the meal for me was the mackerel fish—I've never tasted such an exquisite preparation of mackerel in my life. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived around 8 PM. The restaurant had a peaceful ambiance, perfect for enjoying the culinary delights. The chefs' warm hospitality added to the overall wonderful vibe of the evening.
