Had a pretty enjoyable experience at Satay Club by Essen at Far East Plaza. The two Filipina girls working there were especially pleasant, friendly, and welcoming, which made the atmosphere feel much more comfortable and relaxed. Service was warm and attentive throughout our visit. The drinks are also reasonably priced, especially considering the Orchard area, and the food was honestly not that bad at all. It may not be ultra premium dining, but it’s satisfying enough for a casual meal and drinks session with friends. Overall, a nice hidden spot in Far East Plaza with friendly service, decent food, and affordable drinks. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I had a great dining experience at Satay Club by Essen. The satay was delicious, perfectly grilled, and served with a rich and flavorful peanut sauce. The meat was tender, juicy, and well-marinated, making it one of the highlights of the meal. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, especially in the evening, with a relaxed setting that is perfect for enjoying local Singaporean food with friends and family. The staff were friendly, attentive, and the service was efficient. In addition to the satay, there was a good selection of local dishes, all freshly prepared and full of flavor. The overall quality of the food and the welcoming environment made the experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend Satay Club by Essen to anyone looking for authentic Singaporean cuisine and excellent satay in a comfortable and vibrant setting.
