A Taste of Authentic Malay Heritage That Has Stood the Test of Time! If you’re looking for an authentic Malay breakfast experience, Satay Solo @ Bedok Corner is definitely worth a visit. What I really appreciate is how they have managed to maintain that rich traditional Malay taste, flavour and style consistently—even after decades. It genuinely brings back the flavours and memories of the good old days. Their breakfast menu is awesome, with favourites such as Mee Rebus, Mee Siam, Lontong and Malay Mee Goreng. They also serve Nasi Campur early in the morning, which is a great option for those who enjoy a hearty traditional breakfast. Saw many Uncles and Aunties having their breakfast dates whenever i am there. I had the Mee Rebus with Sambal Tumis, Paru and Begedil with Sambal Tumis, and it came up to just $7. Honestly, worth every penny and every bite! The flavours were spot on, and it was just how I like my Mee Rebus—rich, flavourful and satisfying. The Nasi Campur also comes with individual pricing for each dish, so you can mix and match according to your preference. And don’t stop at breakfast! If you’re visiting in the afternoon or evening, don’t forget to try their awesome Satay and Tahu Telor. A true taste of authentic Malay food that has remained consistent through the years. Extremely disappointed — and this is the second time. I was first in line with my order already written down to make things easy, yet still got stuck waiting (45 minutes and expected another 30 minutes after reaching out directly) and treated with a dismissive, careless attitude. Regular customers who show up ready to support your business deserve basic respect, not this. If this keeps up, you'll lose the customers who've been giving you chances. Do better. Popular Authentic Malay Stall. Came here originally for their Mee Siam, but it was already sold out, even though I was there at 12.300pm, so I settled for the Mee Rebus instead. Turned out to be a great backup choice. The gravy was remarkably thick, rich, and creamy. Unlike typical mee rebus which leans sweet and mild, this version packs a noticeable spicy kick that really elevates the dish. The bergedil and crispy toppings complemented the sauce well. Thr stall is clearly very popular and there is almost always a queue. Service was a bit on the slower side, so expect to wait. Will return earlier next time to catch the mee siam, but the mee rebus is definitely worth ordering if you prefer a richer, spicier gravy.
