Terrible sushi… very chewy and the rice just falls apart. Extremely expensive specially for the quality. Avoid. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000

Very bad. I don’t usually write reviews, especially negative ones, but the past Sushi Sawa experience had me thinking about writing this: Overcooked tempura prawns. Most of the sashimi slices were chewy, fat and stale fish. Moreover, we had a feeling that some of the pieces were cut off from the bad parts of the fish - mostly salmon belly, which was tasteless and fat. Cut mollusk was nice, as well as the sake. We saw a cooking person coming from the bar in the gloves, opening the door (holding the door handle) and then working with raw fish in the same gloves. Although there was no people in the restaurant apart from us (1-2pm, lunch time), the service felt like we were a nuisance, like we came at the wrong time and weren’t expected at all — the attitude was very mediocre. We weren’t expected to be pampered, but the experience here left a distinctly unpleasant impression. Judge for yourself.
