This food was fantastic! I can't wait until I return and explore more of their menu. It was truly a delightful experience that reminded my taste buds about the joys of fine dining. We ate the appetizer first. They had a special shrimp appetizer that day. The shrimp was cooked well and paired perfectly with the other ingredients in the dish. My friend and I shared two main dishes. The first main dish was a Stone Octopus Ink Risotto. I was curious as I haven't had many dishes prepared with octopus ink. Additionally, risottos are not something I traditionally order as they tend to be too creamy for my taste. That was not the case here. The risotto was fantastic. It was just the right level of creamy and the octopus had the smoky taste of being flame cooked. I was amazed. The way the stone octopus was cooked reminded me of all the times my dad grilled meat over an open flame. The second dish was the Beef Ratatouille Pasta. The dish paired wonderfully with the wine they recommended. They understand well what they are serving. The pasta was good and the vegetables were positively delicious, but the star of that dish was the beef. It was so tender and juicy, I couldn't believe how delicious it was when I took a bite. It was everything I have ever wanted from cooked beef in my life. My one regret is that I didn't order a steak as well. But, then I would have missed out on the flavorful combination of the beef with the ratatouille.
