Please don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Seokparang. The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly, can speak in English/Japanese/Korean, and the decor and setting is gorgeous. What's to complain? Well, it's just that they charge a very expensive premium for their food, so we have to judge them against food on the same standard as theirs. And when we do that, it sadly does not stack up well. I had to ask myself, would I award Seokparang a Michelin star in 2023, and the answer would be, regrettably no. Overall, it is not a bad place to eat but the food does not blow you away like a Michelin star restaurant should. It doesn't not leave you feeling like "I want to come back". Although, I am grateful for the experience but it is a "one time only" thing. For reference we ordered the most expensive course (160,000 KRW / person). Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩100,000+
