This our go-to restaurant for sashimi and fish soup. Service is always fast and attentive. They serve a different set of banchan here - sizzling corn cheese, soft steamed fish, bondaegi (silkworm pupa which I never tried and will not try anytime soon), white kimchi, seaweed soup, a variety of sauces and ssam (veggies to wrap your sashimi in). We start with a plate of sashimi rock fish. It's always fresh because the rock fish is kept alive in the tank. Depending on the season, you can get really fatty rock fish (especially in winter). Then we ask for the maeuntang (spicy fish stew) with noodles. This one is the highlight! I love the soup so much! There's depth in flavor, a little kick and it's very satisfying. I have been to a few sashimi places in Korea but here is the best by far. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000
