I decided to try this restaurant since it’s close to where I live, but unfortunately, the quality fell short of expectations. Given the higher pricing compared to other local spots, I expected at least some basic care in preparation and cooking. I ordered the stir-fried pork and kimchi, which was particularly disappointing. The dish lacked authenticity and balance—there were no layers of flavor or variety of ingredients, just an overpowering sourness from the kimchi, which was barely edible. The pork used was lean and dry, not fresh, rather than the traditional pork belly that gives the dish its rich texture and depth. It was honestly hard to finish even one dish because of how poorly it was made. With more attention to authenticity and ingredient quality, this place could have potential. But as it stands, I won’t be returning. For comparison, the Thai restaurant next door offers fresher ingredients, better flavors, and more reasonable prices. I’d recommend going there instead.
