Donkey and I had a truly delightful breakfast at Seowonjuk. We shared the Special Abalone Porridge and the Ginseng Chicken Porridge, both of which were absolutely delicious, rich in flavour, and incredibly comforting. One of the standout features of this establishment is the ease of communication. The staff are highly professional and multi lingual, they were able to converse fluently in Mandarin and possessed a good command of English, which made the ordering process seamless for us. A helpful tip for future diners: eggs are served with the porridge only upon request. However, the staff are very attentive and will proactively ask if you would like one added to your meal. We found this level of service to be fantastic and it really enhanced our experience. While the prices are slightly premium compared to standard local fare, the quality of the ingredients and the excellent service make it well worth the investment. We enjoyed our meal immensely and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic and high-quality breakfast in Seoul.
