Food quality was good overall at Shabu Shi Maya Chiang Mai, but we had an unpleasant experience at checkout. We clearly requested only one Platinum set from the start, since we're Muslim and most premium items are non-halal meat, and ordered accordingly (garlic rice, one shrimp ball, one mussel from Platinum, the rest from the regular menu). At checkout, we were charged Platinum for all 3 adults plus 50% for our 8-year-old. When I raised this, the management trainee who came over was visibly dismissive and accused me of sharing food across packages, saying she'd "check the camera." I told her to go ahead, since that wasn't true. The bill was eventually corrected to one Platinum charge, but the accusatory tone and unprofessional attitude left a bad impression on an otherwise good meal. Would encourage management to review the footage and address staff conduct,attached is the bill with details and timings. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿400–600

Please, don't fall for the photos shown outside. I went for the premium buffet. Most of the meat don't even look good, they were left outside for a long time. Even though there was almost no customer, the food came out very slow. Staff was nice though. Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿400–600
