You guys need to work on your hygiene. How is it possible that every single table is dirty. Not a single table has been wiped clean. Bits of food, grease, trays left abandoned. Food on the floor left unswept. Unacceptable for an establishment located at ICC! Food is okay though. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

It’s an American corporate titan set up inside a temple of high-octane Asian capitalism—the Elements mall in West Kowloon. Let's be honest: you didn't fly halfway across the world to Hong Kong to eat a burger born in a Madison Square Park hot dog cart. You came for the dim sum, the roasting geese, the beautiful, chaotic symphony of local flavors. But then you're walking past the movie theater, you smell that unmistakable scent of flat-top seared beef fat, and your inner American caveman takes the wheel. This isn't just a burger; it's a precisely engineered dopamine delivery system. The potato bun is pillowy, sweet, and compresses effortlessly. The beef patty has those beautiful, jagged, crispy lace edges that tell you the griddle was screaming hot. And the cheese sauce on the crinkle-cut fries? It is a glorious, neon-yellow middle finger to culinary sophistication. Is it local? No. Does it replace the sweaty, soul-affirming experience of a bowl of wonton noodles in Sham Shui Po? Not a chance. But when you are exhausted from navigating the high-end retail maze, looking out through the glass as the sunlight hits the harbor, a well-executed ShackBurger hits a very specific, primal spot.
