I love Shake shack. Tried the one in Jungceylon expecting the same high standards. 2 out of 3 came down with vomiting and diarrhea. Will not ever go back. Be warned. Obviously less than sanitary conditions, or out of date meat. Food: 1

While this justifies the cost for some, the prices are significantly higher than local Thai food or even most competing international chains. For example, a single ShackBurger or Hamburger can cost over 200 THB before you even add fries and a drink, quickly pushing the total cost close to 400 THB for a basic meal set. * Burgers so small: The burgers are designed in the "smashed patty" style, which typically results in a thinner, smaller patty compared to traditional thick burgers. While this is intentional to maximize the savory Maillard reaction flavor, it can leave customers feeling the portion size doesn't match the premium price tag.
