If you are a coffee snob, this place is for you. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but I wanted to try something new while I worked on my computer. I did not expect for the barista to come out and have me smell the freshly ground coffee and had me appreciate the scent. I didn’t expect the coffee to come in two glasses so I could experience the same coffee at different temperatures and glass shape—and oh my gosh, it ACTUALLY changed the taste and smell of the coffee! It was insane! I’ve never had a coffee experience like this before! Everyone was so kind. The price is a bit much but you are paying for the experience, I think. You can tell that this place has so much passion behind it. I definitely recommend for legit coffee drinkers. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

#ShalomCafe Shalom Cafe Most of the houses in Taipei City's Beitou District near Sulfur River are built on hillside terrain (this is very similar to Keelung, which is mountainous and humid). And because of moisture. The sulfur gas content is high, and some sections of the road are winding and narrow, making it difficult to park cars. The local taxi-hailing pick-up and drop-off service in Beitou District (you can also purchase goods on behalf of others) is very similar to the taxi (pickup) ride-sharing service in Keelung City... The houses on both sides of the hillside on Yiliu Road in Xinyi District, Keelung, are similar to the alleys and alleys of the Beitou area. Locals call Yiliu Road "Keelung Little Beitou". Suddenly, I scrolled through my phone and saw an article about a Taipei jazz band coming to Keelung to perform, which happened to be on a weekend night. The location is on the second floor of Shalom Cafe. I heard from my friends that they really want to taste a cup of classic coffee. The baristas hand-brew Psiphon siphon coffee. Heavy coffee drinkers must make a pilgrimage to this restaurant. A variety of specialty coffee beans carefully selected by professional baristas. We are very demanding about the quality of our own coffee beans! The uncle stood by and watched the process carefully: Open the jar and grind the beans- boil water- Stir - powder- Observe the mix-extraction between water and powder (control the powder to be completely mixed with the water, neither over-extraction nor under-extraction) Finally the pot is finished. Giving a sense of ritual to tasting coffee, Smell it first and feel the unique fruity aroma of the beans (the origin and roasting time. The flavor will vary) and the nutty smell comes out⋯⋯ Hanging on the sponge cake-colored wall is a poster representing each branch of jazz music (the light swing rhythm of jazz is playing in the store . The overall atmosphere is very good ! On the second floor, different orchestras will perform at the invitation of the curator on weekends. It is currently in its fourth year. On average, there are two venues a month (you can track the official website of Sharon Coffee). Tickets are required to enter the venue. This time, the ticket price for early booking is 250 yuan + a drink on site. What's even better is that this is a smoke-free environment. There are only a maximum of twenty places available for each performance! The jazz band that performed last weekend night is from Taipei and consists of three members: bass, drummer, and keyboard player! The performance includes tracks Cool jazz (works by Miles Davis) Swing music originated in the United States in the 1930s. Super exciting jazz piece. And the famous song by the drummer and vocalist: "Body and Soul" Song written by Johnny Green and Ben Webster ⋯⋯ Address: No. 38, Yiliu Road, Xinyi District, Keelung City, 201 Time: 13:00-21:00 (closed on Sundays #江都小北头 #义六路 #雨DUSance #documentary #Keelungmustvisitcafé Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: NT$200–400 Recommended dishes: 檸檬塔, 蘇門答臘 陳年曼特寧, Tiramisù
