Shanghai Lane caught my eye on Foodpanda thanks to their vegetarian and vegan options. My husband’s a meat-eater, so it’s often hard to find places we both enjoy—this one worked for both of us! After a good delivery experience, we visited the restaurant in person since it’s nearby. One surprise was the automatic charge for peanuts and tea, whether you consume them or not. It wasn’t about the cost, just unexpected as newcomers to Hong Kong. The food is a hit or a miss— some are bland and a bit on the greasier side. My favorite is the Sweet and Sour Vegan Fish Tofu! Solid option if you're looking for a place with solid veg and meat dishes under one roof.
