After visiting the serene Tsz Shan Monastery, we stopped by Shanghai Lao Lao in Tai Po for a meal, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The customer service was excellent – the staff were very warm, attentive, and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food arrived quickly, and every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. We enjoyed a variety of Shanghai specialties – from flavorful noodles and dumplings to fragrant rice dishes and cold appetizers. Each bite was satisfying and well-balanced in taste. A highlight of our visit was their seasonal Shanghai mooncake, which was absolutely delightful – rich in flavor yet not overly sweet. It was so good that we couldn’t resist buying two sets to take home and share with family. Overall, Shanghai Lao Lao (Tai Po) is a lovely place to enjoy authentic Shanghai cuisine with great service. Whether you’re stopping by after visiting nearby attractions or just looking for a comforting meal, this spot is highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
