If you are the owner or management of this coffeeshop, I hope you take this feedback seriously. This incident happened on 26/04/2026 at around 9:50am. You may verify this via the drink stall CCTV. My boyfriend had accidentally hit his head, and we urgently needed an ice pack to reduce the swelling. We were passing by your coffeeshop and approached the drinks stall to purchase some ice. However, the staff (auntie) refused to sell us ice. I explained that I was willing to pay for it — even suggesting charging me for “Ice Kosong” — as we only needed the ice urgently. She insisted that she could not do so, stating that CCTV was monitoring and that management does not allow selling ice alone, as they are trying to prevent people from bringing in outside drinks not bought from their stall. I want to be clear that I am not blaming the staff member, as she was likely following instructions. However, I believe such a rigid rule from management is unreasonable, especially in situations where someone may genuinely need help. In the end, boyfriend suggested to purchase an Ice Kosong and pour away most of the water just to use the ice. From a practical standpoint, there is no difference — the business still earns the same amount, the biz still earns the full amount. I hope management can review this policy and allow some flexibility, especially for situations involving minor emergencies. Additionally, I would like to raise another concern. The store owners are frequently seen smoking right outside the coffeeshop. The smoke often drifts into the dining area, creating an unpleasant environment for customers. As someone who has grown up in this neighbourhood, I have seen how the coffee shop changes overtime. I hope the management will take this feedback constructively and work towards improving both customer experience and overall hygiene standards.
