My friends brought me to Shinrai to celebrate my birthday and i love the dishes so much!! Especially the truffle pasta, pi dan, the crispy seaweed dish (forgot the name) and the mac and cheese in the crab shell!! In fact everything we ordered did not disappoint too! The service was amazing too, the staffs were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. 10/10 food and dining experience and would definitely be one of the places i will visit again soon Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We tried the one-for-one pasta promotion on a Sunday, but overall it was not worth paying the full price. The potato mentaiko and signature maki were notably on the salty side, which made them quite heavy and difficult to finish. We even had to remove some of the ebiko and sauce to better balance the flavours. We shared this feedback with the server and were informed that this is the standard preparation and the intended taste. She told us that she will inform the chef about our feedback. It would be helpful if the kitchen could consider a more balanced seasoning profile, or offer adjustments for diners who prefer less salt. Overall, there is potential in the dishes, but the execution on seasoning affected the dining experience. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Ambience and food is good for a chill night. Agnes is very friendly and patient with us being the first time here. We had a great evening, a great shout out to Agnes to make it a great night out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
