Came to try the set lunch. Pao fan was amazing and so was the selection of dim sum. Generous servings, friendly and accommodating service made it a very enjoyable experience.

Shou Handmade Dim Sum Restaurant 5 Kadayanallur Street. Kada mall, #01-02/03, Singapore 069183 Location = Shou Dimsum eatery is nestled on ground floor of Kada Mall. ️ It's situated within the center space area of Kada building. _____________________________________. Food ***********. As it was packed to the brim at Sunday lunch hours, I chose to dapao or takeaway my 4 dimsum items:-. Har Gow. Siew Mai. Crystal dumplings. Fu Pei Quen ( aka beancurd prawn meat rolls) I've been to almost 95% of all the 5-star hotels' Chinese restaurants in Singapore, and believe me, the quality of Shou's dimsum is comparable to that of a 5-star fine dining eatery. The Har Gow prawn dumplings were fresh and the skin was thin and silky smooth. ︎ The Siew Mais were delicious, and the meat was well-marinated. The Crystal "Shui Jing Bao" Dumplings were scrumptious. ️ The little bits of 点心 morsels had delicate translucent skin with savoury fillings, and the texture was soft and chewy, and had a slippery and smooth mouthfeel. Best of all, the prices of the classic dimsum items were kept reasonably low. No wonder the eatery was super packed on weekends. _____________________________________ Decor/ Ambience= The space has a Japanese inspired feel to it ️ with Shoji traditional sliding doors and windows and room dividers made of wooden lattice frames covered with translucent paper. _____________________________________ Service = the service staff were brisk and efficient. They were not rude, but I can see they are truly understaffed, and so they are trying their best. It was an extremely busy period when I visited, so I tried to accomodate their busyness by waiting outside for my takeaway dimsum items. Overall, I would recommend that if you want to try the delicious dimsum here, it's best to go on a week-day period, when the crowds are not all over the place. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Take out Price per person: SGD 20–30
