天の橋立駅前にあるお土産物屋さん兼お食事処のお店です。 向かいには知恵の湯があり、天橋立まで歩いて行ける好立地ということもあり外国の方が多くご来店されていました。 今回は寒ブリのしゃぶしゃぶを注文。 十分すぎるくらいの量があり、臭みも全くなくすごく美味しかったです！ セットのお刺身が何の魚なのか接客担当の方に聞いてみたらよく分からなかったようで、厨房の方が出てきて刺身の内容を教えてくださいました。 聞かれることも多いと思うので、そこら辺はスタッフ間で共有した方がいいと思いました。. Positive Review for Showabussan Restaurant 松和物産 本店 We had a wonderful meal at Showabussan Restaurant 松和物産 本店. The food was delicious and comforting, and the atmosphere felt warm and authentic. Most of the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. Only the staff member taking the order seemed a little sleepy, but everyone else made the experience very pleasant with their attentiveness and polite service. Dishes We Tried Crab Nabeyaki Udon (鍋焼きうどん・蟹入り) A beautifully presented hot-pot udon packed with flavour. The broth was light but rich, filled with sweet crab legs, fresh enoki mushrooms, leafy greens, and a soft egg on top that blended perfectly into the soup. The seaweed garnish added a gentle aroma. This dish was warm, hearty, and perfect for a cold day — a true comfort bowl. Unadon (うな丼) The grilled eel was tender, glossy, and coated with a beautifully balanced sweet soy glaze. Placed over warm rice with a touch of pickled ginger, the dish had a satisfying harmony between savoury, sweet, and fragrant. The pickles on the side added a fresh and crunchy contrast. A simple but very delicious unagi bowl. Clam Udon (あさりうどん) Light, clean, and extremely refreshing. The broth carried the natural sweetness of the clams, giving the dish a delicate ocean flavour. The udon noodles were thick and chewy — perfectly cooked — and the sliced green onions on top added a nice brightness. A very soothing and easy-to-eat bowl. ⸻ Overall Showabussan Restaurant is a great place for tasty, comforting Japanese dishes with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite one slightly sleepy staff member, the rest of the team made us feel truly cared for. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a casual yet satisfying meal in the area!
