Old place northern home cooking/Shun Yuan Restaurant When you want to eat noodles and order by yourself, Shunyuan Restaurant, located in Section 3 of Tingzhou Road, not far from Treasure Rock, may be a good choice. The two of us ordered leek boxes, steamed shrimp dumplings, musu fried pancakes and pickled tripe soup that day. For side dishes, we chose bean sprout buns and dried shreds. The portion was just right, not too much, not too little, and it was perfect for a lazy Sunday. The considerate store owner made the leek box have a beautiful cross-section, so that the plump fillings can be safely wrapped in the brown outer skin with a hint of burnt aroma. What you see is green and what you smell is simplicity; shrimps half the size of a palm The steamed dumplings are steaming hot in the cage, filled with the joy of being fat and white. The meat and shrimp dance in the mouth in a cha-cha-cha-cha that makes your taste buds applaud. The wok-flavored Mushu fried noodles are colorful and attractive, and the portion is sincere. The taste is like a proud naughty naughty thing. I highly recommend adding the chili on the table to add richness; the pickled cabbage and pork belly soup has a delicious taste. It has a refreshing and chewy texture, accompanied by the warm and slightly spicy ginger shreds, like the sun in winter.
