Before heading to the airport to pick up a friend, I took a detour around Bang Tao. It's been raining in Phuket for 23 consecutive days. To avoid traffic, I arrived here early for easier access to the airport. I sat for a while in a small, art-themed cafe. Outside the window, rain was falling; inside, the sound of children diligently drawing filled the air. Travelers are rushing; people living their lives are simply going through the motions.
