This mookata place at Downtown East Mall has an entrance that faces the street, giving it a lively and open feel. About half of the seating is outdoors and the other half is indoors, so you can choose depending on your preference or the weather. They offer both all-you-can-eat buffet options and à la carte dishes. The restaurant is quite clean and well-organised, with a wide variety of food choices. The seafood and meats are good quality and well marinated, making them flavourful even before dipping into the sauces. The spicy sauce stands out with a nice kick, and buffet diners also get free ice cream, which is a nice bonus to end the meal. Overall, it’s a satisfying spot for mookata, especially if you enjoy having plenty of options in a casual setting. Price per person: SGD 40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Value for money mookata place for supper in the east. Saw many bad reviews mainly due to service and waiting time so I think it’s probably because it’s popular that’s why not enough staff to go round. Definitely deserved higher rating. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $40–50

Siam Square Mookata (Downtown East): A Fiery Feast at Great Value! My recent mookata experience at Siam Square Mookata in Downtown East was an absolute blast, a communal grilling adventure elevated by their exceptional Thai chilli sauce, standout marinated meats, and a delightful selection of ice cream. Gathering around the sizzling dome with friends made for a fun and interactive dinner. What truly sets Siam Square Mookata apart is their special Thai chilli sauce. This isn't your run-of-the-mill dipping sauce. It's a vibrant, tangy, and fiery concoction that provides the perfect counterpoint to the rich, grilled meats. The fresh coriander, readily available to mix in, adds a bright, herbaceous note that complements the chilli's heat beautifully. Every dip was an explosion of flavour, adding an addictive zing to each grilled bite. Seriously, don't skimp on this sauce! While the variety of meats and seafood on offer was impressive, my personal highlight was the teriyaki pork belly. The thinly sliced pork belly was beautifully marinated in a sweet and savoury teriyaki glaze that caramelised perfectly on the hot dome. The result was tender, flavourful, and slightly crispy edges that were simply irresistible. I found myself constantly reaching for more of this particular delight. Adding another layer of enjoyment to the meal was the availability of ice cream, offered both à la carte and as part of the buffet. The lime sorbet was particularly refreshing, providing a zesty and tangy palate cleanser after the rich mookata. The berries ice cream was equally delicious, offering a sweet and slightly tart counterpoint to the savoury grilled items. This sweet ending was a fantastic way to round off the meal. Considering we had a full table feast for $150, the entire experience felt like fantastic value for money. It's an ideal option for a group gathering, offering a delicious and interactive dining experience without breaking the bank, complete with delightful dessert options. The service crew were also on point – attentive and prompt in replenishing our ingredients, changing the grill plate when needed, and generally ensuring we had everything we needed for a seamless and enjoyable mookata session. Their efficiency added to the overall positive vibe of the evening. Highly Recommended for group gatherings and flavour lovers, especially those who appreciate a sweet finish!
