交通渋滞で到着が少し遅れましたが、翌朝の関係で終了時間を伝えたところ時間通りに終わることが出来ました。決してせかしている訳もなくゆったりとした気分で食事を堪能させて頂きました。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Disappointing for a 1-Michelin-star experience. I had high expectations for Silks House given its Michelin star, but the evening fell short in almost every way except the food itself. Service was inconsistent and impersonal. The first three appetizers arrived within 3 minutes of each other, then I waited 18 minutes for the next course — no explanation, no pacing. It took 10 minutes just to get a wine list, then another 15 minutes to actually get a glass of wine. Dishes were set down with no introduction — for a less familiar, refined cuisine, I’d have appreciated even a brief note on what I was eating. Dining solo, I’d have welcomed a bit more attentiveness or conversation from the waitstaff; instead no one checked back to see how the food was. The reservation situation was also odd: the Regent’s front desk told me they couldn’t get me a table, yet when I arrived and spoke with the host directly, they seated me immediately — and the restaurant was only half full at 7pm, with tables clearing out around me. As for the food: the wagyu beef and the seafood soup were genuinely excellent. But most other dishes felt underwhelming and forgettable for the price point — at NT$4,880 (plus 10% service) per person, I expected more consistency and polish throughout. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, I left unsure what earned it that distinction. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $2,000+
