It's a wonderful ambience in the owners tranquil garden. We had fun playing badminton while waiting for the food. There is toys for our toddler to play with and he had great naps in their hammock and on their sofa. Also loved that we could bring our dogs. We went there twice and will definitely go back there if we have the opportunity. My family enjoyed the sourdough bread and I really liked the pork curry. The price for the salads are on the high side, but that's to be expected. They offer delicious homemade things! Loved the place and recommend it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting a delightful restaurant Simple Pleasures in a picturesque village near Chiang Mai. This charming spot truly stands out as a hidden gem, and I’m excited to share my impressions. The restaurant is beautifully situated on the edge of the village, offering a serene environment surrounded by natural beauty. Despite the midday heat, the atmosphere was incredibly refreshing and peaceful. The space is meticulously designed, with multiple seating options to suit any preference—inside the main building, at outdoor tables, or in a separate two-story structure. The decor exudes warmth, showcasing thoughtful attention to detail and a genuine appreciation for aesthetics. The menu is a testament to the owners’ culinary passion and creativity. During my visit, I tried their sandwiches, and they were nothing short of delightful. The avocado-chicken sandwich was perfectly balanced, with creamy avocado complementing the tender chicken. The salmon and cream cheese sandwich was equally exquisite, with a hint of richness offset by the freshness of locally grown pickles. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the addition of pickles brought a unique, tangy twist that elevated the flavors. To accompany the meal, I tried their signature ginger lemonade—also referred to as ginger beer—which was invigorating and refreshing, the perfect drink for a hot day. The restaurant also offers alcoholic options, adding versatility to the menu. The Simple Pleasures Cafe is run by a lovely couple, who pour their heart and soul into every aspect of the experience. They bring a sense of warmth and professionalism that makes every guest feel like family. Adding a unique charm to the team is their friendly cat, who occasionally graces the dining areas with its calm presence, making the experience even more memorable. This restaurant is a harmonious blend of delicious food, thoughtful design, and heartfelt hospitality. Whether you’re in search of a satisfying meal, a tranquil retreat, or an unforgettable experience, this place has it all. If you find yourself near Chiang Mai, I highly recommend stopping by Simple Pleasures Cafe Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿400–500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Simple Pleasures Homemade Bread
