While exploring the charming streets of Sinchon, we came across Dancing Hong Kong (댄싱홍콩), a cosy Hong Kong-style restaurant tucked away in one of the area’s prettiest streets. The surrounding neighbourhood is full of traditional Korean-style buildings, creating a lovely atmosphere that’s perfect for wandering before or after your meal. One thing we really appreciated was the service. The waitress spoke English and was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made ordering so much easier for international visitors. What we ordered: * Signature Xiao Long Bao * Mixed dumpling platter * Fried dumplings * Noodle dish * Chicken dish The highlight of the meal was definitely the Xiao Long Bao! They were juicy, flavourful, and served in individual holders rather than being placed directly on a steamer. Such a simple idea, but it made it so much easier to pick them up with chopsticks without tearing the skin or spilling the delicious soup inside. I wish more restaurants would serve them this way! The mixed dumplings and fried dumplings were also very enjoyable and made for a great light meal. The only downside was that the noodle dish was a little lacking in flavour, and the chicken was slightly dry. They weren’t bad, but they didn’t quite match the quality of the dumplings. Overall, though, it’s a lovely place to stop for a casual lunch, especially if you’re looking to escape Seoul’s hot summer weather. The restaurant is air-conditioned, comfortable, and reasonably priced, making it a great spot to recharge before continuing your day of exploring. A gourmet experience in a place with a nice hanok interior. Especially, Hong Kong meat jjamppong and stir-fried noodles are recommended. We really want to visit again^. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000
