Ate set meal of roasted chicken include vegetables. As being hainanese to order, stall holder themselves do not even know basic hainanese. So shameful Basic taste onto the chilli, ginger, rice. Only the chilli & ginger are good with sesame oil input. Rice not as fragrant & oily as it suppose to be. Chicken meat is not soft enough. So i grade only 3/5 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I make a point of dining here whenever I visit Singapore. The quality of the food is reliable and satisfying, and considering its central location, the pricing is reasonable by local standards. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Sing Ho Hainan Chicken RiceThe last time I ate this must be ten years back. After reading what A friend wrote about this, which he claimed was a really bad chicken rice, I still decided to give it a try. At least, I did not have negative experience the last time I ate.After a long walk, I am hungry, anything should have tasted good. I walked right into the Aircon section and I noticed all the workers staring at me. 白鸡腿饭，I said, that is steam chicken drumstick with rice, I even paid before I ate. It was $6, my heart nearly stopped for a couple of seconds, then I took a deep breath. The rice and chicken was served. I could sniff the strong ginger smell from a distance. As part of my ritual, I would taste the rice. Big spoonful of rice went into my mouth....err... where is the chicken taste? It tasted like rice with ginger water. Then I tried the chilli, pretty good, spicy and fruity as well as complex layering in taste. Last came the chicken, I could only taste the sesame oil. Normally I would finish the rice without adding anything. I had to add dark soy sauce which was watery! This chicken rice is a complete disappointment. It is hardly anything like what I had before. I agree with My friend, this is the worst chicken rice I have eaten. Something has certainly gone wrong.
