Sin Woosung Town was a delightful surprise on our third day in Jeju Island. After visiting our first two destinations, we decided to go for Korean barbecue again. The ambiance feels like a typical Korean restaurant but leans more toward a traditional design and aesthetic. It was warm and cozy inside, which was perfect since the weather outside was freezing. The place is quite spacious, with many dining tables and chairs—definitely a sign that it gets packed during peak hours. The only downside for me was that they don’t have exhaust fans per table, which you usually see in most Korean BBQ restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the language barrier. They really tried to build rapport while preparing our meals, which I truly appreciated. The food itself wasn’t anything new, but the taste and service made it worth it. The price was a bit higher compared to other restaurants we tried, but overall, it was fine. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant for the fun and pleasant experience we had. Special shoutout to the elderly lady who laughed when we asked for extra rice and ended up giving it to us for free—she even said, “It’s on the house.” There’s a free coffee at the second floor, don’t forget to try that.
