I stayed in the twin bed room for 5 nights. The good: Chai (the owner) makes everything amazing. He is super kind and flexible (he was telling us about so many changed travel plans due to the bombing in the middle east). He gave us delicious coffee each morning for free and many helpful suggestions for the city. There are also free washing machine/dryer, hair dryers, and a ton of water bottles. The location is excellent as is the price. Chai helped me with my luggage and I enjoyed chatting with him. The bad: The room is on the top floor and the bathrooms are on the bottom. You have to walk down 2 flights of STEEP stairs to go to the toilet. The downstairs sinks dont work well, and the room sink is a little iffy. The wifi was so slow to the point of being unusable, even with the extention plugged in. The AC works, but slowly, and it took 5ish hours to fully cool the room down. (Went to sleep with it warm, woke up middle of the night cold.) The room is noisy and the beds are rather hard. The bottom line: This hostel is amazing if you are young budget traveler who wants to be in the middle of everything and make genuine connections in Thailand. If you need frequent trips to the bathroom, have creaky joints, or have a hard time pulling your luggage up a narrow set of steep stairs I would not recomend. (Keep in mind that I took this photo with a wide angle setting so the proportions are a little distorted) Service: 5

The stay is in a prime location; very close to Chinatown and Song Wat Rd.Both the bedroom and bathroom were super clean. We for a second did not think the place was lacking in anything. There is also a kitchen that you can use, and drinking water is provided daily. And of course; the owner is super cute! He recommended great things for us, and was just lovely to chat with in the mornings. He also makes delicious coffee and teas (best ones we had in Thailand)! We would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! Hope to see you again, Vanda & Klaudia

A hidden gem! Mr chai is a very hospitable man. He takes care of his guests like their family. Would definitely recommend Sip N' camp. Plus, Mr chai makes excellent coffee! These reviews are not fake btw, they're all true. Service: 5
