I really enjoyed it. The waitress did a great a job. And was rather personable. She was a doll and a joy to talk to. The table was well cleaned, and the floor clean. The salad bar was stocked well, but the mushroom soup lacked mushrooms. Mainly because the guest who were busy scooping the mushrooms out and leaving the soup. Not cool to be that selfish. But the salad mixinhs were all very fresh. The yogurt was awesome. Tasted like a cheese cake to me. I had 3 little bowls of it. Delicious. And the machine was cleaned and well maintained. Now the 3 stars on the food. I give it 3 stars for the flavor and reserved the last 2 stars for the presentation. I ordered the sea bass. The menu had a beautiful picture of a large fillet of sea bass atop a heaping portion of mashed potatoes on top of a sizeable bed of spinach. Mouth watering. But when I got my meal I had a piece of sea bass that probably would push the scales to 2 oz. Maybe 3. It balanced on about a 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes that covered the 2 tablespoons of spinach. There of course was 3 cheer tomatoes to give some acid. I thought it was an appetizer, but I honestly believe the appetizers were more substantial than the actual main dish. At 400 baht, I honestly expect a more substantial meal. However, the cooks did a great job with what Sizzler gives them. The bass was cooked perfectly, very flavorful, skin on so you can see it truly is sea bass and not a knock off. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and the spinach was not over cooked. The flavor was spot on! Just the portions were more of a small child size. Sizzler should consider giving there chefs a little more so they can produce the foods in portions that will bring more people to the establishment and be more truthful on your menus. The staff was great. I can talk for hours about how wonderful they are. They are the front line and catch all the silly complaints. I feel sorry for them. I do hope Sizzler is giving them a living wage. All in all, I will go back. And bring my friends and family with me. And hope that Sizzler will decide to increase portion sizes to adult size. To the staff, Great job! You deserve respect and praise everyday for your hard work. You are making Sizzler look good and you are why I will return. To support your hard work.
