I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but I decided that I have to after the bad treatment received from all staff at Sleep Sheep Hostel. I feel like I need to leave this as a proof for the future guests - since the owner WASN’T HONEST on the reply to my sister earlier today. On the sign that they have in multiple places along the property, it’s clearly stating that they charge THB100 per hour, starting from 11:30am. When we went to check out a few minutes before 12:30 (hence less than 1 - ONE hour later), the hostel tried to charge us THB200, which would be equivalent to 2 - TWO hours later. I am still trying to understand their math calculations and in which world it would be correct to try to charge us THB200. Would also like to clarify that, differently from what was said by the hostel owner, they were unfriendly from beginning to end, giving the stinky eye and rolling eyes even before we said we don’t agree to pay the THB200. The properly was clean, but it was misleading since the bathroom doesn’t match which what was announced on Booking.com. The bathroom in the photos had shower separate from toilet and the one in the room had the toilet very close next to the shower and the shower had NO curtains, so everything got wet! It was awful for 4 people showering and we would not have chosen this place if it had provided CORRECT photos. A hostel is also expected to provide sheets in all beds, instead NO sheets were provided Service: 1

- Bad service and treatment: not friendly staff that was rude from beginning to end - There is a sign clearly stating that for late check out, after 11:30am they would charge us THB100/hour. We had our checkout at 12:27pm and they kept trying to charge us THB200. Very rude staff made us call someone and have to complain on the phone, and kept giving us the stinky eye after that! - fake advertisement of the bathroom conditions. The photo of the private room shows two doors with private shower and private toilet, when we arrived there it was both toilet and shower together on a small space, without curtain that made the whole bathroom wet when we showered - curtains in the room don’t match window length, so room got really bright really early - bed doesn’t come with sheets, they only give a blanket that I am sure isn’t washed after every guest Service: 1

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify the situation for the benefit of future guests. We provided our standard complimentary luggage storage area, which you refused, insisting instead on using a private staff area - a request we cannot accommodate for security reasons. Regarding late check-out : our policy ( clearly stated ) charges 100 THB per hour in full-hour increments after 11.30 AM. - 12.30 PM. check-our results in a 200 THB fee. Though you insisted on paying only 100 THB, we accepted it as a goodwill gesture to resolve the matter. We firmly reject the false claims about misleading advertising and unclean rooms. Our website accurately represents our hostel, and we follow strict cleaning protocols after every guest. Our team remained professional throughout. We are committed to fair policies and clear communication, and we stand by the service we provided.
