Aomsin and his wife Tuu were incredibly gracious hosts, opening for us even on the Songkran holidays. We bought excellent iced and hot chocolate drinks, and enjoyed delicious samples of different dark chocolates. Aomsin explained the history of his business and farm, as well as his many efforts to perfect his craft as a chocolate maker, including experimenting with different roasting profiles and fermentation techniques. Roast Niyom is a great treat for day visits from Bangkok, anyone on their way to Hua Hin, or anyone else in the neighborhood looking for a delicious treat by a dedicated craftsman.
